Mold Damage in South Miami Closet
Mold damage developed in this South Miami closet space when a plumbing leak persisted in an adjacent bathroom. The closet was full and went undetected for some time. We set up a containment area before we began mold removal to prevent mold spores from being distributed throughout the house. We then cut a portion of lower drywall out to allow for drying with air movers. We positioned dehumidifiers in the area to aid the drying effort. When our monitoring equipment verified the walls and flooring were sufficiently dry, we treated the affected area with a fungicide. We saved the floor and the interior of the walls. WE replaced only the small portion of wallboard that was removed to allow drying. We were happy to provide a minimally evasive solution to our client.
