Water Damage – Cutler Bay Home
Water damage was suffered at this Cutler Bay home when a very severe thunderstorm packing high winds toppled large tree limbs through the roof of this house. A lot of rainwater was allowed to enter the interior portion of the home from numerous spots where the roof was damaged. Water accumulated on the ceiling inside and broke through from the weight of the water in various places like shown in the before photo. In this type of situation, our technicians would first do what was necessary to place tarps on the damaged portions of the roof and facilitate repairs. Inside the home, we cleaned up the debris and disposed of it properly. Then we cleaned up the water. Commercial air movers and dehumidifiers were used to dry the floors, ceilings, and attic. Once dry, the ceilings were repaired.
