Water Damage – Cutler Ridge
Water damage at this Cutler Ridge office building was caused by a broken joint in the pipe shown. The pipe was buried within the wall, and we needed hi-tech moisture detection devices to locate the origin of the water. When we found it, we were able to tear out only the necessary portion of the wall to allow the plumbing to be fixed. We had to remove much drywall that was water damaged. It could not be restored, and we needed the access space to dry the interior of the walls and to treat them with an antimicrobial substance to inhibit mold growth. We augmented the drying process with several air movers as pictured above.
